Made-to-Order: We create the design only after you place the order, reducing waste. Standard sizing applies.
Made-to-Measure: We adjust the design to your specific measurements for a better fit.
Bespoke: This is a fully personalized service where we design a unique piece in close collaboration with you, from sketch to final stitch.
How long does it take to receive my made-to-order or made-to-measure piece?
Production typically takes 2–4 weeks depending on complexity and fabric availability. We’ll confirm timelines after your order.
How do I provide my measurements?
After your order, we’ll guide you step-by-step on how to take and submit your measurements — no tailoring experience needed.
Where are your styles made?
All DLANDERSEN pieces are either crafted at our studio in Copenhagen or made in collaboration with skilled artisans in Portugal, depending on the design and technique required. We value quality, craftsmanship, and traceability in every step.
Do you ship internationally?
Made-to-order pieces in standard sizes are available for international shipping.
Made-to-measure and bespoke pieces are currently only available for delivery within Copenhagen, Greater Copenhagen, and selected areas in Sjælland, due to the fittings and personal service involved.
Can I request custom changes to a made-to-order design?
No — made-to-order pieces are produced in standard sizes only, and we do not offer custom changes. If you’re looking for a personalized fit or design, please explore our made-to-measure or bespoke services.
Can I return a made-to-order item?
Yes — we accept returns on made-to-order items only if the item has not been worn and the original tag is still attached. The customer must provide proof that the item is in its original condition. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return.
How do made-to-measure and bespoke orders work?
We begin with a personal consultation — either in person or online — where we discuss your needs, style, and preferences. For made-to-measure, we adapt an existing DLANDERSEN design to your exact measurements. For bespoke, we create a one-of-a-kind piece from scratch, developed in close collaboration with you. Made-to-measure pieces typically start at a lower price point than fully bespoke designs.
